Everything you need in one place — flooring, tile, cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and walk-in closet finishes.

The LeviArs Design and Remodeling showroom is the foundation of every successful project. We've built it to be a real-world reference room — not a sales floor, but a working library of the exact products, samples, and finishes we install in customers' homes every day. Our in-house designer is on-site to walk you through full-room combinations: how a tile reads against the cabinet, how a floor will look with the countertop, how the whole room comes together before a single decision is locked in.

We've curated relationships with the most respected hardwood, engineered, LVP, tile, and stair-system manufacturers in North America. Every product on display has been vetted by our installation crews — we only carry materials we'd put in our own homes.

Protecting Your Home

We protect your home before any work begins — furniture moved, surfaces covered, floors protected.

At LeviArs Design and Remodeling, home preparation is treated as part of the project itself, not an afterthought. Before a single tool comes off the truck, our crew walks every space the work will affect — and every space adjacent to it. Furniture is moved, glassware secured, art relocated, and electronics covered. We use heavy-duty plastic sheeting on doorways to contain dust, ram board or thick craft paper on existing floors that must remain in place, and protective covers on countertops, cabinets, and stair railings.

Dust control matters more than most homeowners realize. Demolition and sanding create fine particulate that can settle into HVAC systems, fabric upholstery, and electronics for weeks if it isn't contained at the source. Our team seals off return air vents, sets up negative-pressure containment when the project warrants it, and runs HEPA filtration during dust-generating phases.

At the end of each work day, the site is left organized: tools staged, debris bagged or in a contained area, walking paths clear, and the rest of your home returned to a livable state. Protecting your home isn't a checkbox — it's a daily practice the LeviArs team follows from demolition through final cleanup.

In-House Design

Every successful remodel begins with design — the framework that makes every other decision easier.

At LeviArs Design and Remodeling, every successful project begins long before demolition. Our in-house designer works with you to translate ideas into specifications, materials into combinations, and rough concepts into the finished room you'll live in for years. Design is not a separate service we sell — it's the foundation of how we build. Whether you're starting with a clear vision or just a Pinterest board and a feeling, the LeviArs design process gives shape, structure, and confidence to every decision that follows. By the time framing begins, you've already seen the finished room.

i. In-Home Consultation

It Starts With a Conversation

The first step is a free in-home consultation with our designer. We walk the space with you, take measurements, photograph existing conditions, and most importantly — listen. What works in your current home? What doesn't? How do you actually live in this room?

The conversation matters more than the measurements. A great design begins with understanding the people who will use it every day.

ii. Material & Color Coordination

Combinations, Not Just Choices

Picking one material is easy. Coordinating cabinetry, countertop, backsplash, flooring, paint, hardware, and lighting into a single cohesive room is where most homeowners get overwhelmed. Our designer brings real samples, real boards, real combinations — the same materials we'll install in your home.

The LeviArs in-house designer is included in every project. No third-party design firm, no separate fee.

iii. 3D Rendering & Visualization

See the Room Before It's Built

For larger projects — kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, full renovations — we produce 3D renderings before construction begins. You'll see materials, proportions, lighting, and millwork on screen, and revisions are included until you approve.

What you sign off on is exactly what gets built. No surprises on install day.

“Design isn't decoration. It's the framework that makes every other decision easier.”

Your remodel begins with a conversation, a sketch, and a clear vision — that's the LeviArs Design and Remodeling design promise.

Kitchen Remodeling

Complete kitchen transformations — from dated original kitchens to modern, custom-designed spaces.

At LeviArs Design and Remodeling, kitchen remodeling is the heart of what we do. Whether you're updating a tired 1990s kitchen in Bellevue, opening up a closed-off layout in a Kirkland craftsman, or designing a brand-new chef's kitchen for a Sammamish new-build — the kitchen is the room that defines how a home lives. Our full design-build approach means LeviArs handles every piece of your kitchen remodel: design, cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, plumbing, electrical, lighting, flooring, appliances, and final finish — coordinated by one in-house team, on one schedule, under one point of contact. No subcontractors disappearing between phases. No surprise change orders. Just a kitchen built right, the first time.

i. Materials & Design

Built to Last Decades

LeviArs specifies cabinets built with plywood boxes and dovetailed solid-wood drawers — never particleboard. For countertops, we guide clients toward quartz for everyday durability, natural stone for character and movement, or porcelain slab for a seamless full-height modern look. Backsplashes range from hand-set ceramic and porcelain tile to bookmatched slab.

Our in-house designer will steer you away from trend-driven choices that age poorly and toward materials that still look right in fifteen years.

ii. What to Watch For

Where Bad Kitchens Go Wrong

The two biggest pitfalls we see in kitchen remodeling: cabinetry that warps within a few years because it was built on a budget, and layouts that ignore how the homeowner actually cooks. We've also seen rough plumbing rerouted without permits, leading to insurance issues during resale.

LeviArs Design and Remodeling pulls all required permits, builds with quality cabinet boxes, and lays out every room around your real workflow — not a magazine photo.

iii. What to Expect

A Typical Timeline

Most kitchen remodels run 7–21 days of on-site work, plus 2–6 weeks beforehand for design, cabinet ordering, and material selection. Demo is messy but quick. Cabinets and countertops are the long-lead items that determine your project schedule.

Your LeviArs Project Manager keeps you informed at every milestone — demo, rough-in, install, finish, and final walkthrough. You'll always know what's happening next.

“A kitchen isn't a product you buy off a shelf. It's a room we build around how you actually live in your home.”

From dated oak to modern showpiece — the LeviArs Design and Remodeling kitchen process is built to deliver a kitchen you'll love using every day, for decades.

Bathroom Remodeling

Spa-quality bathroom transformations — tile, fixtures, vanities, and showers crafted to perfection.

Bathroom remodeling is, by a wide margin, the most technically demanding room LeviArs Design and Remodeling builds. Behind every tile and every fixture is plumbing, electrical, framing, and waterproofing that has to be done correctly the first time — because everything downstream of a hidden leak gets ten times more expensive to fix two years later. Whether we're transforming a builder-grade Renton bathroom into a spa retreat, designing a curbless walk-in shower for aging-in-place in a Mercer Island home, or building a luxury master bath from the studs out, LeviArs approaches every bathroom remodel as both art and engineering. The finish should feel like a five-star hotel. The work behind the wall should last thirty years without a callback. That's our standard, and it's why our clients refer us to their neighbors.

i. Materials & Design

Built for Daily Use, Designed for Calm

For floors and walls, LeviArs specifies large-format porcelain and natural stone — fewer grout lines, faster cleaning, premium feel underfoot. We design curbless walk-in showers for accessibility and resale value, floating vanities for visual openness, and integrated niches and benches as part of the tile layout.

Fixtures matter as much as finishes: we specify Kohler, Delta, Brizo, and similar trusted brands — never the cheap big-box equivalents that fail or look dated in five years. Heated tile floors, dimmable LED lighting, and proper exhaust ventilation are part of every premium LeviArs bathroom remodel.

ii. What to Watch For

Where Cheap Bathrooms Fail

Most bathroom failures come down to two invisible things: inadequate waterproofing and improper slope on the shower pan. Both look identical to a professional job the day they're installed — and catastrophic two years later, when the subfloor rots and the framing has to be opened up.

LeviArs Design and Remodeling uses Schluter or Wedi waterproofing systems on every shower, slopes pans precisely to manufacturer specification, and pressure-tests every plumbing connection before tile goes down. The work nobody ever sees is exactly where our warranty lives.

iii. What to Expect

A Typical Timeline

A full LeviArs bathroom remodel runs 7–21 days on-site, depending on size and tile complexity. Demolition and rough plumbing happen fast in the first few days. The tile work is what takes real time — and it's the phase where you absolutely don't want anyone rushing.

You'll have a working bathroom elsewhere in the home throughout the project. We protect doorways, hallways, and adjacent floors with care so the rest of your home stays clean and fully livable.

“The day a bathroom is installed, every contractor's work looks the same. Two years later, you find out who actually waterproofed it.”

Spa-quality finishes, built on engineering you'll never see — that's the LeviArs Design and Remodeling standard.

Walk-In Closets

Custom shelving, drawers, hanging zones, and lighting — built into the architecture of your home.

A well-designed walk-in closet is one of the most personal rooms in a home — and one of the most rewarding to remodel. LeviArs Design and Remodeling builds custom walk-in closets that work the way you actually live: hanging space sized for what you own, drawers laid out for what you reach for first, shoe storage that displays rather than hides. From compact master closets in Kirkland condos to full dressing rooms with center islands in Bellevue and Sammamish estates, LeviArs builds closets that bring order, elegance, and a small daily moment of luxury to your routine. Every closet is designed in-house and installed by our own crews.

i. Materials & Configuration

Built for Your Wardrobe

We build closets in solid wood, painted MDF, white oak veneer, and walnut — with soft-close drawers, integrated LED lighting, glass-front cabinets, and pull-out accessories. Configuration is custom to your wardrobe: long-hang sections for dresses, double-hang for shirts and pants, dedicated shoe walls, jewelry drawers, and hampers built in.

Hardware matters: we specify Blum or Hettich soft-close hardware, never the budget alternatives that sag in two years.

ii. What Most Closets Miss

Where Stock Closets Fall Short

Big-box closet systems are designed for "average" wardrobes, not yours. They put hanging rods at one height, give you generic drawer depths, and ignore the awkward corners and ceiling angles that make your specific closet unique.

LeviArs Design and Remodeling measures every dimension, asks what you own, and designs storage around your real life — not around what came in a flat-pack box.

iii. What to Expect

The LeviArs Build Process

Walk-in closet projects run 1–7 days on-site, depending on size, materials, and whether new flooring, lighting, or electrical work is included. Most closets are built in our shop, then installed in a single careful day with minimal disruption to the rest of the home.

You'll have a designer involved from concept to install — not a salesperson handing you a brochure.

“A closet should make getting dressed easier — not be one more room you have to organize.”

Fireplace Remodeling

Statement fireplaces built from the wall up — tile, stone, slab, custom mantels, and millwork.

The fireplace is the visual anchor of every room it lives in. Done well, it elevates an entire home. Done poorly, it dates the room the moment it's installed. LeviArs Design and Remodeling treats fireplace remodeling as a complete architectural intervention — not just a tile job. Every project starts with a 3D rendering by our in-house designer, runs through framing and surround work by our crew, and finishes with custom mantels and built-in millwork that ties the fireplace to the rest of the room.

i. Materials & Design

The Anchor of the Room

Porcelain slab gives you a clean, modern, full-height look in one continuous piece. Natural stone — marble, soapstone, travertine — brings character and a sense of permanence. Hand-set decorative tile creates pattern and warmth in traditional rooms.

Mantels should be specified in solid wood — white oak, walnut, or rift-cut oak — not veneer, which doesn't survive the heat cycles.

ii. What to Watch For

The Hidden Risks

Fireplaces involve heat, gas, and structural framing — three things that are unforgiving when done wrong. We've seen mantels installed too close to the firebox, surrounds that crack the first winter, and gas lines run without permits.

LeviArs Design and Remodeling pulls all permits, follows manufacturer clearance specifications precisely, and inspects every connection. Your fireplace should be a centerpiece — not a liability.

iii. What to Expect

Designed Before Built

Every LeviArs fireplace begins with a full 3D rendering. You'll see the proportions, the materials, the lighting, and the millwork before any demo begins — so what you approve is what gets built.

On-site work runs 5–14 days depending on scope. Surround and millwork are coordinated so the room comes back together cleanly, with no gaps or mismatched details.

“A fireplace is the one feature in a home that almost nobody changes after it's built. That's why we render it first — and build it like it has to last.”

Tile, stone, slab, and custom millwork — designed, framed, and finished by the LeviArs team, from concept to flame.

Floor Installation

Our in-house flooring crews complete every install with precision, attention to detail, and respect for your home.

Flooring is the foundation of how a home feels. It's the largest visible surface in every room, and it sets the temperature of the entire space — warm or cool, formal or casual, traditional or modern. LeviArs Design and Remodeling is, at its core, a flooring company that grew into full remodeling. Floors are what we've been doing longest — and our in-house crews install every plank, board, and tile themselves. Nothing subcontracted, nothing rushed.

i. Materials & Design

Choosing the Right Floor

Solid hardwood is the lifetime choice — sandable, refinishable, ages beautifully. Engineered hardwood is the right answer for basements, slab construction, or radiant heat. LVP (luxury vinyl plank) is unbeatable for waterproof durability in kitchens, baths, and rental properties.

We carry Mirage and other premium brands and will steer you to the right product for your specific room — not just what's on sale.

ii. What to Watch For

Where Floors Fail Early

Most flooring problems come from one of three things: subfloor that wasn't leveled, acclimation that was skipped, and moisture testing that nobody bothered to do. Skip those steps and your floor cups, gaps, or buckles within a year.

LeviArs Design and Remodeling tests every subfloor for moisture, acclimates material to the home for the manufacturer's specified time, and levels imperfections before a single board goes down.

iii. What to Expect

A Typical Timeline

A 500-square-foot install runs about 2 days. A full 4,000-square-foot home runs about 15 days. Refinishing existing hardwood is 3–5 days plus drying time between coats.

We move furniture, protect cabinets and stair railings, and clean up daily. The fewest interruptions to your home are part of the LeviArs flooring promise.

“The first thing you walk on, the first thing you see, the last thing anyone notices when it's done right. Floors are everything.”

Hardwood, engineered, LVP, laminate, and stair flooring — installed by the LeviArs in-house crew, never subcontracted, always level.

The LeviArs Install Process

Hardwood, engineered wood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, tile, and stair flooring installations handled entirely by LeviArs crews — never subcontracted, always installed to manufacturer specification.

LeviArs Design and Remodeling installs hardwood, engineered wood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, tile flooring, and stair flooring with professional preparation and attention to detail that sets us apart from competitors who cut corners on subfloor prep. The single most important step in any flooring installation happens before a board is laid: how the subfloor is sealed, leveled, and moisture-tested.

Here's what makes the LeviArs install different from 99% of flooring companies: we do not use the standard underlayment containing VOCs that most installers default to. Instead, every LeviArs installation uses a ZERO VOC sealer system — a substantially safer, cleaner choice for your home's indoor air quality. The ZERO VOC sealer also outperforms standard underlayment on moisture protection and seals the subfloor against dust migration through every gap and seam for the entire life of the floor.

Years from now, when other floors are creaking, telegraphing dust through the seams, or showing moisture damage at the perimeter — LeviArs floors are still quiet, clean, and protected. That difference is invisible the day of install. It shows up over the decades that follow.

Four Install Methods, Matched to the Material

Every flooring product calls for a specific installation method. LeviArs uses all four — never one approach forced onto every product.

Floating Install

Used for luxury vinyl plank, laminate, and engineered wood floors where the manufacturer specifies a floating install. Planks lock together and float over the ZERO VOC sealer. Quiet, stable, and ideal for slab construction or basements.

Nailed Install

The traditional install method for solid hardwood and engineered wood up to 7-inch wide planks. Nails are driven through the tongue at a precise angle, locking each board to the subfloor. The most durable, time-tested method for residential hardwood.

Glue-Assist Install

Used for engineered wood floors at 10-inch wide planks, where the manufacturer approves and recommends supplemental adhesive. Combines nailing with strategic glue lines for the most stable wide-plank installation possible.

Full-Trowel Glue Install

A full-spread adhesive install for engineered wood that requires it — including homes near the waterfront where moisture vapor is a concern, and any installation directly over concrete subfloor. The most demanding install method — and a LeviArs specialty.

Every LeviArs Design and Remodeling install — floating, nailed, glue-assist, or full-trowel — uses the ZERO VOC sealer system. No exceptions, no shortcuts, no excuses.

Sanding & Refinishing

Bringing old hardwood floors back to life — with the Bona professional waterborne finish system, applied in three coats by trained LeviArs craftsmen.

LeviArs Design and Remodeling works exclusively with Bona professional hardwood floor finishes to help customers protect and enhance the natural beauty of their wood floors. Bona finishes are recognized worldwide for their durability, clean modern look, and professional-quality protection. Whether your hardwood needs a refresh, a full sand-and-stain, or a high-performance recoat for a high-traffic area, our trained LeviArs refinishing team helps select the right Bona system for your floor — and applies it to exacting professional standard.

“Our goal is to protect the floor while keeping the natural beauty of the wood visible. Bona is the only finish system we trust to do both.”

Why We Choose Bona Finishes

Beautiful Natural Look

Bona finishes keep hardwood floors looking clean, modern, and elegant — without the yellow tint or heavy plastic appearance you get from cheaper oil-modified products.

🛡

Strong Floor Protection

Bona finishes are engineered to protect hardwood floors against daily foot traffic, scuffs, pet claws, dropped utensils, and the kind of wear that adds up over years.

🌿

Waterborne System

Bona's professional waterborne finishes are a cleaner-application choice with low odor and rapid cure times — better for your family during the project and better for indoor air quality after.

🎨

Multiple Sheen Options

Customers choose the final look of their floor — from a soft Extra Matte to a refined Satin, classic Semi-Gloss, or full Gloss. Bona delivers every sheen at professional quality.

Three Coats. Professional Results.

Every LeviArs sanding and refinishing project uses a full three-coat Bona system — customer-selected sealer, durable mid-coat, and a high-performance top coat rated for the heaviest residential traffic.

1st Coat
Sealer
Customer Selection

Choose from the full Bona sealer line: ClearSeal, ClassicSeal, IntenseSeal, NaturalSeal, AmberSeal, or NordicSeal. Each sealer changes how the natural wood reads — clearer, warmer, lighter, or more amber depending on the look you want.

2nd Coat
Mid-Coat
Bona Mega ONE

A professional waterborne mid-coat that builds film thickness, levels evenly, and bonds tightly to the sealer below and the top coat above. Mega ONE is fast-drying and produces a beautifully clear, durable layer.

3rd Coat

Bona Traffic HD

Stairs Remodeling

Complete stair makeovers — from worn carpet and dated railings to modern showpieces.

Most homeowners never think about their stairs until they see them transformed. Then it's obvious — the staircase is one of the most architectural features of any home, often the first thing seen at the entryway, and one of the single highest-return upgrades you can make. LeviArs Design and Remodeling specializes in converting tired, carpeted stairs into modern showpieces: white oak treads, iron or steel balusters, painted risers, refined railings. The difference is dramatic.

i. Materials & Design

From Worn Carpet to Statement Stair

Solid white oak treads with painted risers is the most popular and timeless combination. Walnut, hickory, and maple are options for a different look. Balusters can be wood, painted spindles, iron pickets, or contemporary steel rod — each changes the room's character significantly.

We can also refinish existing hardwood stairs if the wood underneath is salvageable — sometimes the best value is what's already there.

ii. What to Watch For

Not Every Stair Should Be DIY

Stairs are governed by building code: tread depth, riser height, and railing height all have legal minimums and maximums. Get them wrong and the work has to be redone — or worse, fails inspection at resale.

LeviArs Design and Remodeling builds to code on every project. Treads are glued and screwed, railings are anchored to framing (not just drywall), and balusters are installed plumb. The result is solid underfoot, quiet, and built for decades.

iii. What to Expect

A Typical Timeline

Most stair remodels run 1–7 days depending on the number of stairs, complexity of railings, and whether stain or paint is involved. Material acclimation and finish drying are what stretch the calendar.

Stairs are usable between stages of the work — we sequence projects so you always have a safe path between floors, with clean transitions back to the rest of the home.

“A staircase is the spine of a home's design. Replace the carpet with real wood and a clean railing, and you change how the whole house feels.”

From carpeted and dated to architectural and timeless — LeviArs Design and Remodeling builds stairs that anchor your home.

Painting Services

Interior, kitchen cabinet, and exterior painting — from drywall prep to final coat, handled entirely by the LeviArs team.

At LeviArs Design and Remodeling, painting is the finish that makes every other detail look intentional. Whether refreshing a single room in a Kirkland home, transforming kitchen cabinets from dated to designer, or refinishing the entire exterior of a Bellevue craftsman, our painters approach every job with the same standard: careful preparation, the right materials for the surface, and clean professional lines. Interior and exterior painting are full services in their own right at LeviArs — not afterthoughts tacked onto a remodel. Done right, paint protects your home and elevates the entire architecture. Done wrong, it telegraphs every flaw beneath it.

i. Interior Painting

Walls, Ceilings, Trim & Doors

Walls, ceilings, baseboards, door frames, window casings, crown molding, and doors — the LeviArs interior painting team handles every surface in the room. Before a brush touches the wall, we fill nail holes, patch drywall, sand imperfections, and prime where needed. We mask floors, cover furniture, and tape clean lines.

The result is the kind of finish that holds up to direct light without revealing flaws underneath.

ii. Kitchen & Cabinet Painting

Transform Cabinets Without Replacing Them

Painting existing kitchen cabinets is the highest-value painting service we offer — a full visual transformation at a fraction of replacement cost. Doors and drawer fronts are removed, hardware bagged and labeled, surfaces degreased and sanded to a uniform profile, then primed and finished in a controlled environment for an even, factory-quality coat.

When reinstalled, your cabinets look new — without the disruption of a full kitchen demo.

iii. Exterior Painting

Siding, Trim & Weather-Ready Finish

Exterior painting begins with a thorough power-wash to remove dirt, mildew, and chalking. Bare wood is primed, gaps are caulked, failing paint is scraped, and trim is sanded smooth. We schedule exterior work around Pacific Northwest weather windows — a beautiful coat applied in the wrong humidity will peel within a year.

The right paint, applied at the right time, gives you a finish that lasts a decade.

“A great paint job isn't what you see — it's what you don't. No drips, no bleed-through, no visible roller marks. Just clean lines and even color.”

Six Stages, Every Project

Every LeviArs painting project follows the same six-stage process — whether it's a single bedroom or a full exterior. Quality comes from the prep, not the paint.

01

Walkthrough & Color Selection

Our designer reviews the rooms or exterior surfaces with you, helps select colors and sheens, and confirms the scope of prep work. Samples are tested on the actual wall when needed — paint chips lie under different lighting.

02

Drywall Repair & Prep

LeviArs handles all drywall prep ourselves — patching holes, repairing cracks, sanding rough texture, scraping failing paint, caulking gaps in trim, and removing wallpaper where needed. This stage takes longer than people expect, and it's where most cheap paint jobs fail.

03

Protection & Masking

Floors are covered with drop cloths and ram board. Furniture is moved or wrapped in plastic. Trim, outlets, switches, and fixtures are masked with painter's tape and paper. Doors are unhinged or carefully covered. Nothing gets paint that shouldn't.

04

Priming

Bare wood, drywall patches, stained surfaces, and color-change walls all get primer first. Primer is what makes the topcoat read uniformly — without it, patches and seams telegraph through the finish coat in raking light.

05

Application — Brush, Roll, or Spray

The LeviArs team uses the right application method for each surface. Walls and ceilings are usually rolled. Cabinets and large smooth surfaces are sprayed in a controlled setup for a factory-quality finish. Trim, doors, and detail work are hand-brushed. We use premium paint from trusted brands matched to the surface and conditions.

06

Final Walkthrough & Cleanup

Two finish coats minimum, with proper dry time between. After the final coat, we walk the project with you under daylight and overhead light, mark anything that needs a touch-up, and complete those touches before we pack out. All masking removed, hardware reinstalled, drop cloths gone, and the room left clean.

Interior, kitchen, and exterior painting — done with the same care LeviArs Design and Remodeling brings to every other detail of your home.
